The City of Owensboro’s Engineering Department is partnering with the Owensboro Neighborhood Alliance Program to distribute free tree seedlings on Thursday, April 30. This will be in the parking lot of the Owensboro Sportscenter.
The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., or while supplies last.
Those who come out to this event will be able to choose from Eastern Redbud and White Dogwood seedlings. Those are two native species known for their beautiful spring blooms.
