ODC Youth Football Cheerleading Competition

November 3 @ 1:00 pm

Admission: 12 & under—free, 13 & up—$3
Girls will be allowed will be allowed in at 12:30 pm with a sponsor through gate 5 (the public will not be allowed in with the girls, they must enter thru the main gate)
ALL Sponsors and Coaches MUST wear their coaches pass to enter with the girls @ 12:30 pm.
The public will be allowed in at 1:00 pm, or as soon as all of the girls are in.
THERE IS NO RESERVE SEATING ALLOWED!

VARSTIY RULES
NO lifting over the head in stunts, no high pop cradles—topper’s bottom should not go above the base’s head at ANY time.
NO one is allowed to sit with the girls during competition except for the coaches and sponsors.
Decorations must be removed after competition and disposed of properly.
Pom-poms are NOT required during dance routine.
Pom-pom passes are NOT required.
The girls corner chant will NOT be judged, it is just an introduction.
Music MUST be 1:40 to 2:00 minutes with NO explicit lyrics or bleeps
Music MUST be approved by league commissioner or 5 points WILL be deducted from competition score.
NO makeup, jewelry, or fingernail polish will be allowed.
Hair must be in a ponytail or a half pony tail for the girls with short hair, and
MUST be out of the girls’ faces. NO braids of any kind are allowed in the ponytails!
ALL girls MUST wear white socks and white shoes (Keds or off brand)
ALL girls must wear a white turtle neck under the league issued uniform
ALL girls will turn in their uniforms and pom-poms at the end of competition-NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
NO names of other teams competing in competition can be used in the cheer or chant.
NO mats will be provided or allowed.

ROOKIE RULES
Will do a dance that can be NO longer than 1:30 minutes—there is NO shortness requirement just whatever the girls’ ability level is.
Music must be age appropriate!! Remember the girls are 5, 6 and 7 years old!
Music MUST be approved by league official.
The girls will do a corner chant to introduce themselves.
They will not decorate their areas
All squads must be in the Sportscenter at the beginning of the competition to take their seats and perform.
Participation awards will be given out at the end of competition during the award presentation.

SIGN AND DECORATION RULES
NO Balloons or Glitter are allowed. Glitter Glue is fine as long as the glitter doesn’t fall off onto the floor. Flashing or running lights are also NOT
allowed for safety of participants and spectators.
Signs should be no larger than 10 ft long x 4 ft tall
Squads MUST bring their own extension cords if lighting is required.
Sponsors, coaches, and parents will be allowed in from 9-10:30 am on the day
of competition to decorate—THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO DECORATE!!
NO cheerleaders will be allowed in during this time (McLean County
cheerleaders may come with parents but they must sit in the bleachers—NO
practice on the floor will be allowed.)
Everyone MUST leave by 10:30 am
Rookie cheerleaders will NOT decorate
